 MEET THE DOCTOR

Dr. Hinson holds a Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry after several years of required advanced training and continuing education. He is currently one of only nine dentists in the history of the state of Arkansas with this distinction.  In his 27th year of practice, he has completed  the core curriculum with the Pete Dawson Center for Dentistry and Occlusion, and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the International College of Dentists, the American Dental Assocation and the Arkansas State Dental Association.  He currently serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the AR State Dental Association and is very active in organized dentistry. 

He believes strongly in continuing education and has completed over 400 hours of advanced dental education in the past 36 months.  He serves as a guest lecturer at the University of Arkansas Medical Center and serves as the treasurer of the Arkansas Dental Political Action Committee.  Dr. Hinson received the honor of being named the most outstanding graduate at the University of Tennessee in Children's Dentistry and in Crown and Bridge Dentistry in June of 1983.

Married to Marsha Kilburn Hinson, he has two children: Alex 18, and Katherine 13.  They attend Pulaski Academy College prep school in Little Rock.  Alex will attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville beginning 2010.
